What We Do

Rapid Media Systems has created a digital video recording system like no other. It is truly unique.

We were originally commissioned to design and develop an on-board video recording system to be installed on the cars at Mercedes-Benz World, the automotive experience theme park near London, England.

The system - fitted to 18 Mercedes-Benz AMG cars - records, from multiple angles, the driving and passenger experiences of guests on the private test tracks, skid pans and off-road circuits.

The brief was reliability, efficiency and speed of delivery to the guest. In an era when every other recorded experience meant providing either raw footage on the spot or a fully finished and edited DVD a week later, the system at Mercedes-Benz World was providing a fully finished and fully edited personalised DVD in less than four minutes.

The fact that this system has been used by Mercedes-Benz World since 2006 with a 100% reliability record is perhaps all the endorsement it needs.

The system, now also installed in theme parks and used by other event organisers remains a 100% reliable incremental revenue generator.
